Dan spearheads the company’s business development initiatives, operations, and vision for a client-first centric culture of excellence. Passionate about providing businesses with an independent advisory perspective for data center modernization, digital transformation and managed services, his model for delivering customers strategic and comprehensive roadmaps is firmly-rooted in the belief they should be solutions for both technical and business goals.
Dan has an extensive information technology career in the financial services and VAR industries. After serving as an Assistant Vice President and Manager of Messaging Technologies at Wellington Management LLP, Dan became a Lead Solutions Architect and Microsoft vTSP at Presidio. There he grew the Microsoft practice through his ability to sell solutions and not product. A member of the exclusive Microsoft Partner Advisory Board, he is highly-engaged and exposed to the cutting edge of technology which he is often asked to present and discuss at companies, associations and chambers of commerce.
A native of New Hampshire and very proud of his French Canadian heritage, Dan enjoys the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding and scenic rides on his motorcycle when he can squeeze it in. When not on the slopes, he can be found attending one of his children’s numerous baseball or soccer games.
Darren oversees the data center services division at SkyTerra Technologies, as well as the company’s technology infrastructure.
A thoroughly-detailed engineer with over 20 years of experience, he has worked in the demanding fields of finance and education information technology as an administrator, director, and manager for such companies as Blackbaud, NaviSite, and Wellington Management LLP. Highly-skilled, Darren is also an excellent and articulate communicator; offering clarity and simplification to engagements that are often complex and abstract. An effective team manager, he can successfully guide teams on the importance of big picture strategy down to the finite details for deployment. Darren often says: “My goal is to simplify the challenges of IT so companies can focus on their success and that of their teams.”
Darren volunteers as a Fire Lieutenant and EMT for Amherst (NH) Fire Rescue. A role he’s quietly passionate about, he’s heavily involved with many community events and associations such as the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and the Amherst Fire Department Color Guard – an honorary guard that pays tribute to fallen firefighters and their surviving family members in funeral and memorial services. When not on duty, Darren is typically training new recruits or bringing his daughters to their next overly-long cheerleading competition.

His ability to cultivate expedient and agile teams, combined with his mastery skill to disentangle complicated data sets and intricate systems provides companies with the proficiency improvements they need in today’s digital-first world.
Offering over 15 years of business leadership experience in technical development and consulting, he has been the CTO/Co-Founder of Oxbow Software and Iafarri, and CEO/founder of Red Brick Data and Joppa Software Systems where he worked with numerous financial, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and life science global companies and brands. Chuck offers a deep level of expertise in all Microsoft technologies including SharePoint, SQL Server, Power BI, CRM, and .Net.
When Chuck isn’t exploring the latest release of Microsoft’s applications, he’s cheering on one of his three children at the athletic event of the day – which is typically track, soccer, baseball or the first-to-get-to-the-front-seat-of-the-car race (which is usually won by one of his two dogs).
